Why is this little girl skinny when her parents are obese?

She lives with her parents and eats what they eat. It's not like she's a little girl cooking by herself. I assume her parents have an unhealthy diet so how is their daughter skinny?

I believe that young people can get away with eating high calories without weight gain, I’ve met people who eat over 9000 calories a day who are skinny, but as you get older, that becomes impossible.

9000 calories? I can't even imagine how much that is. What exactly do they eat and are they athletes? Because if they are, then that's understandable. Otherwise, how do you eat 9000 calories a day?

I remember visiting a Christmas buffet party with a church friend and my friend had over seven plates of food and each plate had junk food like fried chicken, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, quiche, pizza etc… she had over seven plates of food and for lunch she would eat two subway sandwiches which is over 2400 calories.

Ahh I see. I'm jealous of her metabolism then, if she's able to eat that many calories and still be skinny.

The little girl might be a picky eater. She's at school and not sitting on the couch stuffing her face in front of the T. V. all day and she probably plays outside when she is home.

Maybe they at least know how to feed her properly otherwise it will catch up eventually not sure i do not know these people they could be slowly starving her

Our bodies change as we age. She’s probably much more active than her parents. But if she isn’t careful, she’s likely to be obese as an adult.

Give it a few years unless they're parents are controlling her eating habits
