I had -1.75 myopia in both eyes, and a lot of astigmatism in early 2017.
Soon I discovered endmyopia.org and in like 6 months I got 20/20 vision. It's simple science.
Your eyeballs elongate and shrink to adjust focal distance. When the eye is elongated from constant close-up defocus, the surface changes shape and you get astigmatism. Which also goes away when your eyes shrink to their natural shape.
Stimulate it to focus a little further in ways such as holding your phone just an inch further than you're used to... little by little the eye will adapt to long distance vision, and shrink in length.
It's been tested by scientists even on animals and published.
That website has changed a lot since, I'm not sure whether the information is free anymore. I remember the founder Jake Steiner had a YouTube channel which was helpful.
In 6 months?
How old were you when you started?
Won't tell you. Doesn't even matter.
The first 0.5 diopter will drop off in like a week. The rest goes slower.
Compare it to a hand that has been clenched, day and night for many months. Now you're incapable of opening the hand, it will be stuck in the fist position.
However the fastest amount of progress made in a given time is when you decide to unclench the hand. It may half open, but your muscles got tight on one side and over stretched on the opposite side. You can't fully open the hand.
Now as long as you don't clench it anymore, the hand muscles can slowly take the natural shape.
Does this make sense?
The progress speed varies, but it works for everyone.
Only wear glasses at the weakest strength necessary. And only hold your books or screens as far as possible while being able to read comfortably.
And you may need to lower the prescription slowly, like 0.25 per month or something.
Some websites sell it cheap 1-15$.
However some people go up to their local optometrist, and say "I know you buy them all for cents, and sell for hundreds of dollars, let's make a deal that you sell them to me for 20$" and it works for some.
Yeah, I’ve been thinking about laser eye surgery for awhile. I think there’s always possible complications, but laser eye surgery has a very high success rate and people don’t seem to express a lot of issues afterwards. Naturally, as we get older our eyesight may slowly decline so laser eye surgery or not, you will see a decline in your eyesight as you get older. Also, the things that can naturally dry out your eyes or hurt them without having had any laser eye surgery, may still do so despite having had laser eye surgery.
I got the 3rd generation version of Lasik, called SMILE (SMall Incision Lenticular Extraction).
It's less risky than Lasik, has a 24h recovery time, and still leaves enough material for follow up procedures.
I wore glasses from 9-26 years old. Couldn't use contacts due to a heavy astigmatism.
My vision's been 20/20 since, but I am going to go back for touch ups. I knew that was likely going in, and another $1-3k to stay glasses free for a while longer?
Worth it for me.
My night vision is not the best, I will say that. But it is getting better. I highly recommend avoiding night driving if possible.
Watch the videos
I didn't watch the videos, but they look pretty scary, like that picture too.
I'm not an expert on the subject, so I can't comment. I've been wearing glasses since I was little, however they don't bother me, I got used to them and they suit my face. I'm a bit scared to have that procedure, it's not like l fillers that you can dissolve them, if you don't like them, our eyes are valuable
Exactly.
Don’t get it.
Watch the videos
And also you can fix eyesight naturally go to endmyopia online

My friend has cataracts and bad eyes but now they can see their own eye in the mirror for the first time after using 'Can-C' eye drops. They noticed improvements after just a few uses but usually it takes a few months. There are plenty of studies showing evidence of this too. It can get rid of cataracts as well. Surgery isn't the only option, it's just the most profitable...
I would love to but its scary 😰
Gotta stick w my glasses forever then
Or you can do the ENDMYOPIA plan that we talk about down here. DONT GET NO LASIK.
Lasik just carves a permanent lense into your eye. You can no longer naturally get better.
It’s at endmyopia. Look it up.
They give you some rules and some cheap glasses that will release the pressure in your eyes. It’s like a diet, and just like a diet it WORKS.
No surgery
Yes I got LASIK in 2012 and it was scary but now I can see without glasses. It was worth it. Now I'm going to get a hair transplant which is another scary surgery. But it will give me a full head of hair.
All surgeries have complications but they can completely change your life. It's always a personal choice and requires bravery but has high reward if successful.
The hair transplant doesn't seem to give very good results.
Do they still do the butchery technique where they leave a massive scar on the back of your head? Means you'd never be able to shave it.
The other one where they graft individual follicles doesn't seem to give very good results either.
@Levin I’ve talked with multiple people about this surgery and vast majority of them love their results. The scar on the back is only bad if the surgeon is bad. It all depends on the quality of the surgeon. The other one where they graft the back of the head leaves a bunch of holes I don’t like the look of it plus it’s more expensive and less graft availability.
I thought about this surgery for a while and I think it’s worth it for me of course I’m scared but the results will be positive
If I needed glasses then yeah I'd do it. My husband had it done a few months back and everything is good for him. Like you said tho the dryness is bad but that's about it.
As a trauma surgeon for decades, I can assure you the photo posted with the topic will assuredly lead to complications. Redoing what some Pakistani cowboy who was cocky, poorly trained, or in a hurry, has complicated my life immeasurably. On the other hand, I do my own teeth. Tip: Make sure it's numb; practice tasks in a mirror until it's second nature.
Nope, I have seen what it is. They use a laser to burn the lens of the eye to change it's shape. /what could go wrong?
Well watch the videos. That’s what could go wrong
I’ve always wanted to get it. But not only is it very expensive but the procedure kinda terrifies me lol
Don’t get it!
Try doing it naturally with endmyopia
Many years ago, when I had dreams of being a Naval aviator and a fighter pilot, I would have done it. Not now.
I have a lot of family members and friends who got PRK and Lasik and have had no issues at all. Then again they all got it done at the top places with good eye Dr's lol
My brother got it at 18 and he is now 33 and hasn’t needed glasses since
I already have. I could not be happier. My vision is clear.
FOR NOW…….
Ah, i see. You must be one of those anti medics freaks.
Remove my opinion. You are not open minded.
Never said I was.
Just take a look at those videos.
And lasik doesn’t fix miopía it just puts a permanent lense in your eyeball
No.. my optometrist straight up told me not to
Did you watch the videos
Nope, there is no way I could get lasik unless they put me to sleep.
I don't have a need to but if my vision was worse than it is, I still wouldn't.
I have done it twice and would do it again.
@emyywolf looked up the channel that I shared in my opinion, and said she'll start doing it, sent me this video.
I just thought you may also benefit from it.

sure... fry my eggs
No. I’m happy wearing glasses.
No, i love wearing my nerdy glasses
Their can be complications with any surgery

But you two eyes… c’mon man
