everyone is mentioning the obvious and yes... do try those as well

but maybe also look onto WHY are they happening in the first place

maybe... you are working out too much, or you are not working out at all... if you are not working out at all then perhaps it could be some sort of circulation problem or perhaps your muscles are starting to get a bit "rusty" because of sedentarism or staying in the same position for long hours (standing all day, sitting all day)

or maybe you're working out way too much, so you're straining your muscles... if this is the case then just slow down for a bit with that, and also look into a more balanced diet as well as drinking more water

these are the most common causes for cramps...

"What is a cause of leg cramps?

Overuse of a muscle, dehydration, muscle strain or simply holding a position for a prolonged period can cause a muscle cramp. In many cases, however, the cause isn't known. Although most muscle cramps are harmless, some may be related to an underlying medical condition, such as: Inadequate blood supply."

I guess working 12 hours a day, every day would do it. Always on my feet for the 12 hours.

yep... perhaps, nurses might be the ones to help you better with this... they do have experience with these long shifts of hard work

Loading up on water might help. I read about this some time ago but I don’t remember now.

I work 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. As someone said, water. I realize I barely drink water, mostly coffee.

You are lacking in all. Two times a week during training camp we took those supplements and lots of water. 6-8 pints of water with no soda or beer until you get right. Potassium gets flushed by your kidneys IF you have normal functioning kidneys. CONSULT a doctor...
