I have period cramps but simultaneously got calf cramps too so hence the vague question. I usually drink liquid iv the week of but I didn’t this week and still have cramps as of day two.

My advice would be to consume ginger, ginger is actually pretty potent when it comes to alleviating cramps and stomach related issues like stomach aches, pain and such. As good if not better then over the counter medicine.

Whenever my stomach is bothering me I always eat the root itself or candied ginger from a health food store or drink ginger tea or powdered ginger mixed in water, etc and it helps quite a bit. And there's no side affects unlike taking actual medication.

If you take the powdered ginger though it's 250mg is what you want to take.

I often get cramps in my legs and hands. I find eating bananas helps avoid them. I guess it is due to the potassium in them.

It also helps with headaches and believe it or not there are a lot of studies behind it and sex actually helps pain management because of the chemicals it produces. One study showed that people with migraines who had sex actually made it stop hurting as much or not at all. It actually made me understand why people like BDSM even though I think there need to be some serious legal restrictions on that stuff because every year multiple people accidently get killed by their partner doing that stuff. That said from a chemical perspective it makes sense. Given how are body works the pain probably for some people heightens the pleasure because their replacing pain with pleasure. That said just because I think I understand why they do it doesn't mean I approve. I think it's very, very gross and don't think it's acceptable behavior for a lot of reasons.
