What are some ways to relieve Menstrual cramps without taking pain pills?

What works for me (endometriosis): heat packs, you can get electric ones so they're always ready to go. Icy hot/deep heat for muscle pains. Baths with epsom salts, lavender preferably I don't know if it actually does anything but I find the scent calming. Hydration hydration hydration. Dark chocolate! Tens machine. Most importantly for me a dramatic difference came when I switched from tampons and disposable pads to menstrual cups/discs and reusable pads/period underwear. But there is no shame in taking pain relief! If you need it take it. Also if your periods are that bad please see a doctor. Getting on birth control could help you manage them better.
