I don't run enough so, any "bouncy" sole shoes are good enough for me.
But in case of the gym shoes, I make sure that the base is flat and hard enough to maintain balance during squats and deadlifts.
Most of the "technologies" in the shoes are just marketing either way.
Thank you for MHO :)
When I ran marathons I used to do research to find out the best shoes. I ended up with New Balance.
I used Saucony

No, I never trust the sales clerks at SportChek. They bring out a chart that shows you how your feet eventually cave in if you don't buy their really expensive running shoes that you can buy the same shoes cheaper somewhere else.
I do my own research but I do it among all the adrenaline junkies I know, and actually use them for sports like I would...
to me, they are always the best reference lmao...
I do some research. As for trusting the sales clerk, it really depends on the store. In most cases, no.
It would not be a good choice to buy anything without at least preliminary research.
Yes, And I check them with my own hands.
I Don’t trust the sales person, In the end all he wants is his profit.
I never have before buying but that sounds silly now I type it.
I buy clothes in Dafiti, the last shoes I bought were from an American brand.
No, but I usually have to custom order them. I have big wide feet and I don't like jamming them into off the shelf sizes if I can help it.
I read reviews on everything I buy. Usually Amazon, tho a few times I’ve caught them being naughty there. They copy a bunch of five stars from other products.
I tend to give a lot of thought to that sort of thing, yes.
I do a LOT of research before buying a training shoe, including going to expos
Yes I have and I found the one that best work for me and I stick with them.
no just try them on before buying them
