If you are mentally strong, you just go away from those people and eventually grow indifferent to them. No space for any negative in mind. Always.

If you are not, then you just go on becoming dumb for real.

Just be firm and confident in yourself. To gain this confidence, you need to do things that you are good at, without telling these people. Because these people will downgrade you again. Build up the confidence.

And remember, do not try to be good at anything these people are. They are different, you are different. You are good at things they may not be at. Make a big deal out of it, as these people are making a big deal out of the things you are not good at. Tit for tat.
