Is it absolutely normal to have cramps days before my periods come?

Am really worried because every time my periods come, I experience painful cramps like for five minutes. This can happen almost for five times a day even nights. Am I having a problem because it's becoming unbearable

If they get super bad see your doctor. Ibuprofen usually helps a lot. As a woman myself I get them during it and the cramps feel like a bitch. But never before usually. Just the symptoms that lead up to it.

Cramps and other symptoms can begin up to a week prior.
