If he was professional he would have done exactly as you suggested the first time. After that, I would do what he did since I showed you once proper positioning. Outcomes is what you care about from his perspective and keeping you working I’d hopefully his intent.

Speaking for myself, yes i think they’re allowed to do that, mine always says “excuse me” or “sorry,” before touching me though. And is polite and respectful not sus
