What’s marines’ PTSD like?

I have a problem with the question. The is more than one miltary branch. The Marines are NOT the only branch of miltary that service members experience PTSD. My Father was a Vietnam Veteran and he was in the Army and was combat wounded. He sustained PTSD. He used to walk the floor with a gun. Always thinking something was after him. Seeing him hunker down in the bed screaming the VC are coming was very scary to witness. I could always tell whether he was having an episode because he would have a glassed glazed look to his eyes. That was your que to tread lightly.

I heard a lot of them become aggressive in their inner circle because they were in fight or flight mode during the war and turning that system of force or fold off is hard. They are not all cruel, but many are hurt and scarred.

It depends on what kind of battle they've experienced, if any at all. My singer was in Viet Nam and would sometime wake up in the middle of the night and run down the hall screaming as if he was still there running from whoever was shooting at him.

I'm guessing its pretty scary unless they seek professional help.
