I lost an average of 12 pounds per month just doing cardio and eating right.
Run for at least 1 hour every day, or substitute that with M-100's.
For food, this was my diet.
Meats: Lean chicken breast, tuna, salmon.
Veggies: Frozen bags of assorted veggies, spinach.
Carbs/Fibers: Canned Beans (refried and black), brown rice, wheat cereal.
Fruits: Anything I could find. I have an orange tree and I would raid it because I craved sweets.
Hydration: Water, Crystal Light, Low Fat Milk.

Cardio cardio cardio! I also learned that if girls want to lose weight they should do strength training. Mostly strengthen there legs. Muscle is a fat burning machine. So do squats and lunges and cardio : jumprope, swimming, running/jogging, sex, dancing, etc. Hope this helped :)
Eat 6-8 small meals a day, instead of 3 big ones. Eat lots of fruit and vegetables. Only drink water/milk, and cut out sodas especially. And all of this along with exercise at least 5 days a week and you should see some results if you're not cheating yourself. Exercise. A balanced diet (carbs, protein, and good fats) with a cardio routine will do wonders in just a couple weeks.
