Do you believe yogurt and fruit is essential to a healthy diet?

Last night the yogurt was near its expiration date so I ate about 5-10 times the normal serving of yogurt and today the scale says I'm at the weight I was at before my parents went on vacation. I felt weird today cause I only had one fruit in the house that I eat, I never eat apples unless I need sugar or I am putting it in my smoothie.
