Have you ever been put through a 'workout' that you felt in retrospect, that it was 'over the top' in terms of what they wanted you to do?

Has been a lot of discussion on here about exercise and workouts etc. and some about YOGA. For those unacquainted with contemporary Yoga, it can, be and is at times, brutal. We have one instructor, that I at one time, considered taking violin lessons from, and soon rethought the idea, as you might imagine after reading this.

At times, the workouts are just simply beyond my capability, and I have to stop, and sit down and 'recover'. We have had other men in the class that said afterwards: "Well, I not doing this again"! There are 4 men, including myself that attend classes composed of mostly 'hard core' women, some of them are certified Yoga instructors.

Recently, (Wednesday) I simply got up, left the room and came back after a few minutes and rejoined the group. Later, I talked to a girl that is a regular, and is in very good condition, and she said she went to the Wednesday night class with the same woman instructor, and that she 'could barely walk down the stairs to my car after the class"

I am not a pussy, and don't want to appear that way to the other members, but there is a 'point of diminishing returns' when working out as with all of the physical conditioning we do.

Would you talk to one of the other instructors, and voice your concerns OR just bite the bullet and 'quit' the particular set to recover' and then continue as per usual?
