About four weeks ago, I stopped taking my BC (tri- lo mili) about three days later, I noticed I had difficulty taking a deep breath, I kept yawning to get a deep breath. Along with the breathing issues, I also felt face numbness (lips, mouth, forehead) I was super bloated, had indigestion and fatigue. My Dr. referred me to pulmonology and there was restriction in my lungs and am currently using an inhaler. My question is, has anyone else experienced similar issues after stopping birth control? Or if there's restriction, is it for sure something with my lungs? I have a follow up in March to see if my inhaler is working for my breathing issue... but I can't stop thinking of what it can be. I have no cough or wheezing and my lungs are clear (via xray.)

I’ve never heard of that, and I can’t say that I ever experienced any physical symptoms like that with coming off of BC. I’ve tried different types of the pill, I’ve had the “jab” (injection in your bum), and I’ve had the Mirena IUD. Coming off of any of those BC never caused me to have difficulty with breathing.

That doesn't make sense, but have you asked a doctor.
I went to ER very early this morning and the Dr. Said I'm hyperventilating (it's like a withdrawal) because I just quit cold turkey on my BC that I was taking for 4yrs. 🫠
Congrats on quitting smoking.
