Dang bro, bald spots in the beard can be annoying. A few possibilities for what could be causing it:
- Shaving irritation - When you shaved clean last time, you may have irritated the skin underneath and caused some follicles to get damaged. Beards usually grow back but some spots may be slower. Nothing to worry about long term.
- Genetics - Rare but possible you're just genetically prone to some patchy areas. Nothing you can do about that one.
- Stress/health issues - Every now and then bald spots can be a sign of general stress, not getting enough nutrients, vitamin deficiencies etc. But usually temporary.
- Picking/touching - Sometimes messing with patches unconsciously can damage hair follicles over time.
My advice - Give it some more time to see if the hairs fill back in. Exfoliate the skin there gently to promote circulation. Eat healthy and get your vitamins. Try not to stress it or pick at it too much. Chances are it'll even out eventually bro. Could also try a beard oil or balm to condition the skin under there. But I wouldn't sweat it too much either way man!
Your face thinks beards are for douches. I agree.
