I use a medicine called Trulicity (trade name for Dulaglutide) that is terrific for diabetes and weight control. It is similiar to other GP-1 agonists like Semaglutide, and comes in a handy injector pen with a needle so small I cannot really feel it - it is a once a week injection that keeps me very healthy. This is a great medicine! The only side effect I have is occasional mild transcient itching at the injection site - no big deal at all.

Are you taking that medication because you need to regulte your blood sugar or to lose weight?

I take Simvastatin 20mg daily to regulate my cholesterol. it is a small dose abd it has worked good for about ten or12 years. I also take a baby aspirin daily since I had a blood clot DVT

I need to regulate my blood sugar. My AC1 went from 6.4 to 5.4 and has stayed there.

@msc545 Yes I lost a few pounds, I got to add exercise to lose more weight. They want my A1Cs to come down.

ouch yes! The Ozempic will help a lot. I take Metformin along with Trulicity...

Nope.

Tho I'm sure there are instances with certain health issues where the issue outweighs any bad from the medicine. I've just been lucky with my health *touch wood*

Yes. But covid year killed the company. It was something that helped a lot of people and pets too
