Would you be worried if someone you know consistently texted every day or few days and suddenly stopped for 8 days in a row?

Normally he communicates about every few days. If he is sick or busy, I hear from him in 4 or 5 days the most. Last time I heard from him was last Sat. night. Frankly I'm a little worried.

I would be concerned, send them a text and call them... to make sure they are okay.

He sent a long text on Sat night (Sun morning for him) as well as an email letter. I replied on Sunday morning, he has read it already and I normally hear from him the same day or next, or 2 days later. SO it's a little worrying. He has gone about 5 days on his busy days. But I've never have him not reply in so long, 8 days. He was sick last week from being outside in the rain.

That is concerning. If you have any mutual friends, I would consider reaching out to one of them and see if they've heard from him.

No, he replied. He was working at two places near him and then they sent him off to a western city; they do it every month.

Traveling between cities is common there for workers. He's a good worker, and I've seen where he works in the countryside, his location now. I always worry that being he works alone and outdoors in that countryside, that something might happen. That's me.
