Trending & News 1. an omelette made entirely from egg beaters/egg white isn't as good as an omelette made from a mix of egg white/egg beater and actual egg. like for example, if making a 3 egg omelette use one actual egg and 2 egg whites/egg beater servings. the added fat (which isn't much) helps make it more filling and plus the yolk has important nutrients.
2. its perfectly normal and healthy to be hungry again at about 10 am after eating breakfast. this is why they say its more important to eat 6 small meals a day rather than 3 larger ones. for your 10 am "snack" if you can't actually take the time to make anything (which I doubt you can since you probably work) make yourself a half of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. the peanut butter must be the "natural" kind, the bread must be whole grain, and the jelly must be 100% real fruit, no preserves. if that doesn't work for you, get a luna bar (brand of protein bar made for women). you should eat another small snack (maybe the other half of the pb&j sandwich) at around 2-3.
You might not be getting enough water or liquids. Your body (and all our bodies) are quite stupid in some ways. They make us think we're hungry when in reality we're just thirsty -_-

that's not enough no. you need to eat some kind of meat at 10(something like a small grilled chicken breast/ sliced turkey breast) when you get hungry or even some kind of skim cheese and a lean protein mixeed along with that omelette. You need something to stick to your ribs and fake eggs and veggies aren't gonna cut it until lunch time.
Eat some oatmeal with your breakfast and you won't get as hungry so soon. :)
Also, if you're craving something sweet after lunch, aside from fruit you could snack on some flavored (honey, etc.) greek yogurt, I love Oikos brand.

Are you saying that you eat the omelette, etc at 10 am and are then still hungry? if so, then no, you aren't eating enough. if you eat at about say 8 am and are hungry by 10 am, then, again, you aren't eating enough. but generally, if you eat until you are no longer hungry, then you're doing fine.
For a healthy filler, try oatmeal.
For something sweet besides fruit, try diet soda or Crystal Light. There aren't a whole lot of sweet healthy options other than fruit so I'm not sure what kind of miraculous wonder food you are hoping to discover.
You eat the omelette at 10am? Or you eat that before 10am and then are hungry again at 10am? You're not totally clear. If you eat before, what time are you eating breakfast?
Just got with it, have your major meal of the day then. But as for sweets, stick to WEight Watcers type aritficially sweetened things.
You can have a special K bar or dark chocolate. It's okay to have more than 3 meals a day. It's actually better to eat more at a lesser quantity. Some experts state to eat every two to three hours.
