Will my primary care physician know if I go see a psychiatrist/therapist?

Well they usually will ask who your primary care physician is to make sure you don't have any health issues just in case you are prescribed medicine if you have something but I'm not sure if you have to give up that information to the psychiatrist/therapist. I did though and they did contact them. So I would just not give that info if you don't have to.

Have you specifically been referred to a therapist by him? Because that usually means he will get a result/report back from the therapist to consider for his treatment plans.
