I had an came close to having an asthma attack on the trail in my city but luckily I made it back in one piece 🧩

It's rare but can happen. It usually happens if you have an underlying issue, like heart problems or pulmonary problems, they're usually undiagnosed. I had a 20 yr old cousin die from an asthma attack. It turned out he had a valve in his heart that was leaking that was never diagnosed, because of that, his asthma attack through his heart into ventricular fibrillation, a deadly arrhythmia.

Yes it’s very possible to die from asthma. Asthma exacerbation (asthma attack) causes bronchospasm. This all causes the bronchi to swell and potentially close up.
