How do you fix a bee sting 🐝?

I got stung by a bee on my foot. What can I do to make it stop hurting?

The sting part doesn’t hurt anymore it’s cus it’s swollen it’s why it hurts. 🥺

If it continues to hurt and is still swollen, go to a walk-in clinic and get antibiotics. I know it sounds stupid but wasps and hornets are filthy! They hang around dumpsters and garbage cans, then end up stinging someone. I know someone that was stung twice by a yellow jacket last week and ended up getting a bad infection.

It happens, I mean don't freak out lol but yes, if it doesn't seem to be getting better after three or four days or if you feel like you have a fever or other symptoms, you should go in. I'm sure you'll be fine but it can happen.

I'm sorry, if it seems to be getting better, then there's no worries. I'm just saying, the first summer I worked an ED department at a hospital, every week someone two or three people came in with an infected insect bite. Usually, it's multiple bites (stings) but just one can do it. Have a drink and relax lol sorry to worry you.

An LPN is a licensed practical nurse. It's basically just under an RN. My abbreviation is NP. In the state I work in, I can basically act as an MD, as far as diagnosing, treating and prescribing but I need two years internship under an MD's supervision. Also, my pay check won't start with a 2, like an MD's 😂

You didn't disrespect me at all, when you work in the medical field, one thing you'll realize, is an LPN, RN, CNA, PA... know as much as an MD. No I know. My dad was in the hospital for 2 weeks. The nurses were incredible. They really did an amazing job and they definitely know their stuff. Would you mind if I asked a medical question? I’d understand if you didn’t want to. I was reading my dad’s medical report and it’s confusing. Nobody wants to tell me what it means.

Pull out the stinger, wash with soap and water, and pop some aspirin.

Ice it – 10 mins on, 10 mins off to reduce swelling.
Elevate – Prop your foot up to slow blood flow to the area.
Pop an antihistamine – Benadryl helps if it’s itchy/allergic.
Paste hack – Mix baking soda + water, dab it on to neutralize venom.
Avoid scratching! (Unless you want a foot balloon.)

Take out the stinger first, wash the spot with soap and water, get some ice on it if the swelling is too much.

Get some Accent meat tenderizer and water, I don't recall which you put on first but, put one on the sting and then the other. You'll only need a few drops of the water.

Scrape the stinger with something flat, then apply some ice on it to avoid swelling, then take some anti pain like ibuprofen.
