I know you don't want to hear this, but at that age, weight shouldn't be a worry of yours. :) how tall are you? But anyways regardless of where you carry the most weight I would say stationary biking. (hook a road bike up to this device called a trainer, that holds the back wheels up so you can pedal without going anywhere.) I swear by this exercise, you burn calories and sweat your butt off. For a great workout you really just need 30 mins, with the last 10 minutes 1 minute intervals. Hope this helped, good luck!

Age and weight rarely have anything to do with each other, it's more like height and weight. Just because you're 125 does not mean you're overweight. Your doctor is the only one who can tell you what your healthy weight is. You're 13, don't start your life out by hurting your body. You are not a physician, you do not know what you're doing. Please consult a DOCTOR and not use the internet for every health problem.
There are indoor tracks at some gyms and they're easier on the joints and knees anyway.
The gym would also have aeroics classes, weights, probably a swimming pool..

I think the most important question is why do you want to lose weight? For health reasons? Other? I ask because I am concerned why you feel it necessary at such a young age. :( There is some good advice below, but assess why you feel you want to do this and also realize that your body is still developing. Losing weight unnecessarily could be detrimental to your health.
you can buy or d/l exercise dvds and do it all in the comfortof your own room. its more fun then running anyway. well imo.
what's your height? and where do you carry the most weight? stomach, legs, hips?
Your age and weight doesn't tell us anything. What's your height?
