9 dNo, I get annoyed / pissed off. It usually steals a good chunk of my day which mainly ends up being waiting around or driving to and from. And it's never anything serious or a problem. Just routine checkups. I'm always tempted to just skip it.

8 dHad more than my share of stupid errors from a particular dental specialist. Finally found a good doc, and he misdiagnosed the area of infection in my mouth, thereby ordering tooth extraction that wasn't really needed. (The infection burrowed through the gums to a different place!!! ) The junior partner in the clinic to which I was referred was on the right track with his Dx in finding that little burrowing tube of the infection, but by that time the damage had been done, to my gums and my bank account.
My main MD is good guy.
10 Reply 953 opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. Just the dentist! Doctor don't intimidate me. They don't know how to help people anymore anyway. And they don't care like they did in the olden days.
21 ReplyA little
Not because of whatever test or procedure it is
But because I don’t often trust the competence of doctors (especially ones I don’t know)
I’m sure they know their job inside out but I also understand that a doctor always has to limit liability if something goes wrong
So they might be inclined to be too careful and prescribe too much medicine and end up doing more harm than good10 Reply
8 dI avoid dentists and doctors. I don't and never have trusted doctors and dentists, or any of the medical industry. I eat healthy and exercise a lot and am in very good health. My teeth are good and very healthy too.

9 dDentist yes. The last time I went, they went so hard on my teeth, I felt like I wasn't going to have teeth left.
Medical appointment no for the most part.20 Reply
Anonymous(45 Plus)9 dAlways. Though as I get older and my health starts to deteriorate though I realize how little is in my control and I worry less and less. The only thing that really concerns me is what is pertinent to tell the doctor or dentist. Because it always seems like the stuff I get concerned about always seems to be nothing, while the things I think are nothing seems to be the things to get concerned about.

Anonymous(25-29)8 dI love being examined by the doctor but I still get a little nervous. You never know what's going to happen until you're in the little flannel johnny, on the table.
I dread the dentist. It's no fun, all pain.
