I'm gonna drink at least 6 tonight and on most nights. I'm drinking that 9.5% Juice force, because if I drank that weak shit I'd probably down like a 32 pack every night.

Alcohol is only a problem if it fucks with your life and I'm not talking about the health bullshit, but that's another thing to think about. I don't think about it because I hit the weights and I'm hella dead sexy and shit. Could probably beat up anyone on this website and jizz in all the pink accounts with not much protest.

What I'm saying is it's a problem if you get out of control, beat up your kids, and start burning your wife with a hot curling iron... you probably have a problem. Me, I just relax, watch youtube videos... I'm doing that right now as I write this at the same time... just chilling. I might crack some jokes with the wife or kids, but the drinking isn't causing any kind of negative drama. Nobody is waking up the next morning and saying I have a problem... well, maybe you fuckers on this website do, but not the people I actually care about.

One more reason it could be a problem that I didn't think about because, it's not my problem. If you're poor, and need the money, what the fuck are you doing spending it on a habit like drinking? Same goes for drugs... if you can't even afford your habit, it's time to knock it off. Be a gigolo or something until you can afford it, and then partake.

Does four cans of beer get him drunk?

Is your husband impaired in some way because of the beer he drinks?

Does your husband behave differently after he's had four beers?

Is drinking almost five six-packs a week putting a strain on the finances?

Is there some specific thing about him drinking four beers a day that bothers you?

How much does your husband weigh? Four beers is going to affect a three hundred pound man way less than it would affect a one hundred and twenty pound man.

From the point of view of someone that does not drink alcohol except for very special occasions where I would sip a half a glass of wine like at New Years, then I would say that yes, 4 cans of beer is over the top.

He is certainly not living healthy. Alcohol is known to have a negative effect on the body and brain. He may not realize it or even deny that it is harming but it is. Studies have proved that alcohol taken in large quantities are damageable.

I would ask him to reduce his consumption or even ask him to join AA to try to get away from alcohol.

I don't know, maybe he dreams he is in hell. In hell, they all drink cans of beer, but they have holes in the bottom of the cans. And they also try and screw the women there, but the women don't have any holes in their bottoms. 😅

Yes. And if it is consumed without food at the same time, it has even worse action on the human body, since the food would tend to slow the absorption of the alcohol.

    A back story.

Drinking a low gravity 12 oz (5% ABV) beer is like just pouring it into the toilet.

I buy a 4-pack if 16 oz cans if Steel Reserve beer. Each can contains 8.2% alcohol by volume. That is 1.3 oz of straight alcohol. So if I drink all 4, (I don't) I get 5.2 oz of straight alcohol.

A typical Screw Driver drink has 2 shots or 3 oz of vodka. Vodka is typically 40% ABV, or 1.2 oz of straight alcohol. So 4 Screw Drivers is 4.8 oz alcohol.
So one 16oz Steel Reserve is roughly equivalent in alcohol to that Highball.

But beer operates differently than a Screw Driver. It contains CO2 which percolates alcohol directly into your sinuses and brain. If I drink 4 Screw Drivers, the alcohol acts slowly and I drive home safely and sleep well. If I drink 4 Steel 16's, I will sleep well while you drive me home.

4 12oz 5% beers about the same as 2 Screw Drivers. 2.4 oz. Four beers, one directly after the other can impair some men. (not me) and driving can be iffy for maybe an hour. One Screw Driver is a pleasant breakfast drink with plenty of Vitamin C.

4 12 oz beers over one day? Not an issue.

I don't grant anyone permission here is simply my life experience.

The problem is drinking every day not the amount.

I just lost a friend to alcoholism and it happened so gradually by the time they did something to actually hurt our relationship I didn't see it coming.

I don't know much about it though. My uncle drinks a 30 packbevery couple days and he's more functional and present than almost anyone I know now that I really think about it 😂

4 beers every day is about 600 empty calories. I'm betting your husband is not working out 4 days a week either. One beer with a meal is probably OK. 4 beers every day is getting way too comfortable with alcohol and empty calories for me. How heavy is your husband and how long has he has this 4 beer ritual. Did it start out with one beer and grow over time? That's a warning sign.

it is only a bit over recommended drinking rations, which feminists got mad about because they didn't like men being bigger on average, got larger drinking rations than women.

Sour grapes on their part if you ask me.

Allowing for that he is fine.

Right but thats how many people live today.

They work to make money by doing job they hate

It build stress so they counter it with eating unhealthy junk food, drinking smoking etc

So to put it simply, they are just doing something they hate so they can afford to buy something to kill em faster.

Depends on the alcohol content. If itโ€™s over 5% then generally speaking it will have an effect on overall health and wellbeing and likely lead to more alcohol consumption in the future.
Will it kill him? Not likely
Will it lead to weight gain and diabetes? More than likely.
Will it prevent him from running a Ironman? Not at all

in UK the limit from BMA is 14 units of alcohol per week, tell me volume and strength of what beer he drinks and I'll work this out for you, but it sounds way above 14, I would estimate about 50,,,

I know plenty who do and they're perfectly functional... it's when they have a day off and sink 10 in a day

I prefer Scotch so will have one sometimes if the mood takes me and usually do my emails with a quadruple Jameson

It will catch up to him after many years. The doctor might even say it is okay though. I donโ€™t think it is good for him. It relaxes you quickly, reducing stress and making everything feel normal but it is destructive over many years.
