Has anyone had a serious childhood medical condition that still affects you now?

I'm epileptic which means I get seizure. My first one was when I was 11 and I broke the computers at school. It was so embarrassing when I went back. Some kids laughed and made fun of me but others were super nice and caring. Till this day I still get seizures but not that many anymore. I am not embarrassed to say I'm epileptic anymore. It is normal to me now and I really don't care what others think about it.

I had seizures since I was 15 months old it comes with the Sturge weber syndrome I have as well as glaucoma in my eyes

I can walk drive a car and I work eight hours a day forty hours a week and I don't need assistance. I'm even capable of having sex even masturbation.

Yeah, my parents were idiots. That was my medical condition. My father was Air Force. We lived on Air Force bases pretty much my entire childhood. You know, a base hospital. Free medical care. Vaccines. But somehow I managed to get measles, mumps, chicken pox, scarlet fever, and whooping cough as a kid. Luckily I don't remember any of it. But they used to tell me about it like those were fond memories.

But no permanent damage. I survived. LOL, my ex used to tell me my parents wanted me dead. I'm not so sure she was wrong.

No, not in my childhood and nothing serious. I had a few years as a young adult where I was extremely allergic to pollen. That has passed now.

Pollen allergies probably from birth. It still affect me now. I frequently get congested. I need to use medication in the springtime just to be able to breathe properly.

I had pneumonia 3 times by the time I was 10 and still deal with minor congestion issues. It's annoying and I wish I could stop, already but, there's nothing I know of that I can do to stop it.

The asthma from childhood is still there. Sometimes it's better, sometimes it's worse.

autism. however there are treatments that can heal it. Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy is one of the best things out there for it.
