What is the worst pain you have experienced?

I can't just pick one, to be honest.

Physical? I had an accident. It broke my hips. I had to undergo surgery.

I also experienced intense pain in my heart... I fell down and curled up... also got this weird current like feeling in my heart.. as if something was being pulled out of my heart. It was so weird and scary.

Emotionally? I would say two things. My uncle's death. I love him a lot. I lost him when I was really young. haven't been the same since he died.

I once trusted a friend who made me feel so safe to be vulnerable. When I ended up sharing extremely personal things including some traumatic events... She chose to betray my trust. She brought it up in front of others when she got mad at me and decided to argue. She chose to judge me and mock me by bringing up things that happened to me. She also added some lies to make me look like a horrible person who deserves bad things happening to her. So, you could say that was hurtful and traumatic.

Probably the day I fell off my brother's bunk bed and landed on a glass. It shattered and cut my leg wide open. You could see bone it cut that deep. I was bleeding everywhere. The worst part was that my dad (being the cheap ass that he was) handed me a towel and told me to hold pressure so he could drive me to the hospital rather than call an ambulance. So pressing glass into my leg to keep from bleeding out was fun.

Oh, and the kicker? The ER doctor who worked on me got all the glass out and sewed me up. Problem was he forgot to reconnect the tendon that had been severed. I had to go in for another surgery to get that taken care of. Because of all that, I have a slight limp and my big toe sticks up above the others because of how they had to stretch the tendon to reconnect it.

Neurosis. I'll keep it short by saying that I've had my ass kicked multiple times, gone through many abscesses in my teeth and then had them all extracted where the novicaine didn't help much, been stabbed twice, once right below my kneecap, and had fractured ribs. All of that combined ain't shit compared to the round the clock pain I've been through the past 3 months.

Kidney stones, fortunately very small. The pain is sporadic but excruciating.
