1 moThe only medication i ever was prescribed were antibiotics, and dewormers. I forgot to take them years ago. But on the topic of withdrawals, you can take the anti-drug once in a whike to make your receptors sensitive enough. for example i heard people get off of serotonergic meds using bursts of serotonin blockers to make themsleves sensitive enough to endogenous serotonin. Which i assume is the default thing people call "medications". They elevate serotonin levels unaware that serotonin is actually a kind of stress hormone, we need to be sensitive to it so we need less of it to feel good. ㅤ

It’s ok to miss a day but not ok if you miss longer than that , I am pretty good with taking medications that are prescribed to me , but lucky for me I don’t have to take medications every day. My ex had to take medications every day because she was diagnosed with ptsd , adhd, severe depression and anxiety and on top of that she is a type 2 diabetic , if she misses her meds for days , she turns into a complete psycho lunatic , that put me through a world of hell , it was like being married to Dr Jekyll Mr Hyde when she stopped taking her meds. She would be sweet and loving and caring to me for awhile , but then she would turn into this demon that was spawned from hell to attack me when her meds stopped working or she forgot to take them , it was one of the craziest relationships I ever been in and I will never be in that type of relationship again. I thought I could handle it , but I realized I couldn’t , because she had gotten worse and worse through the years instead of better. I did feel bad for her for having to deal with that shit , but unfortunately it was too much to handle , I never knew who I was coming home to and I had a constant question mark over my head on whether she was going to be nice to me or mean to me , I did a lot of research on her diagnosis and that’s why I thought I could handle it , but unfortunately mental illness doesn’t have a cure so the next girl I start dating , my ass is checking her medicine cabinet lol.

1 moI've never been on anything long-term, just some painkillers after a surgery and a car accident once and penicillin that I only needed for a day or two. If I didn't actively feel like I needed it to relieve something I felt right then and there, I'd forget all the time probably.

1 moMaybe once every couple of weeks when our schedule goes kaput for some reason and ewe become pressed for time. Not earth-shattering. It's it early enough, I can take it later in the day and taper up the next day. If it's late inn the day, I'll just skip.

m 1 moI have no prescription for regular medication, I usually don't go to the doc for what seems to be colds to me, I go the paracetamol route instead. I'm also using paracetamol for the occasional spontaneous headache, and I'm using it right when ache starts because I know it's going to piss me off if headache deploys too much lol
However anytime I'm prescribed antibiotics, I'm using phone alarms to remind me, because I hate having to remember things like that, I much prefer when it's my phone doing that job lol

1 moI'm good with my medication routine (heart and allergy pills). I take whatever I need when I first wake up in the morning for work, and later in the morning on the weekends when I'm not working. The reason I was drawn to this question is the girl I'm dating. We've been together for almost a year now, and she's absolutely terrible at taking her medication. What makes it worse is that she's a DOCTOR (specifically a veterinarian neurosurgeon) and obviously should know better, but she's like a child when it comes to her own care. I'm constantly reminding her to stay on schedule. It's extremely frustrating.
P. S.: Not sure what she sees in me, but might as well enjoy it while it lasts! 😂
10 Reply 356 opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. I take absolutely " Nothing for anything " script medications in general , not always but in general are extremely dangerous , highly over perceived especially in the US , and the goal should always be to get clean and get off all you can.
So , I can't forget what I would NEVER allow in my body.12 Reply- 1 mo
1 moI don't care what it is for, I ALWAYS forget to take any meds. But luckily, there are many ways to remember. U can set multiple alarms each with a note reminding u which pills needs to be taken, or download a app to help you. Super helpful. I HAVE TO HAVE TO use a app or I most definitely will continue to forget

I haven't skipped them a Single Day.. a few days I forgot but took them just few hours later I usually take them at noon, but that day I took them at afternoon
00 Reply1.5K opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. Not often enough to have withdrawals, certainly. I'm sorry you had that. If that continues to be a problem for you, then I know of a device you can get that screws onto a bottle cap or comes with its own bottle. Alternatively, that actually has a small clock and an alarm in it.
