Organic Food. Yes there is a health concept behind the whole deal, but if you really want to look into it you will come to find out that as long as you eat healthy and fresh you are pretty much good to go, because pesticides being used and the fact that all food grows on the same ground and " breathes" the same toxins, your organic food is no better off. As far as meat products go, it would be better to get fresh if local product, but unless you plan I'm growing your own garden. I can almost guarantee you that you are indeed wasting your money on produce that claims to be organic. When I say this, I don't mean everything with the label is a sceme, but I am suggesting that if whatever you are buying, claims to be organic, and when its not fresh, has ingredients that identify it to be a unnatural preservative, additives of any sort or sugars and other chemicals, you are pretty much paying to feel you're doing the right thing when really you're no better off.
If you are just trying to eat healthy and think that organic is another way of eaying healthy...WRONG. yes you will probably dismiss a lot of food from your diet because its not labeled organic, but you don't have to eat organic to feel healthy, and its pointless tobeat junk but partially healthy because you ocasionally try to get the food organic if available. Stick to a high protein and nutrient rich diet, stay away from boxed and prefixed foods, wheat ( unless its WHOLE GRAINS, not multi grains or wheat. Greg produce high protein and if you find dairy to be a major part that's good too. Unfortunately you won't have much luck with organic milk, as most cows in the USA are fed corn...corn is not something cows would naturally eat, so it messes with their stomachs. Instead of feeding them proper food we give them antibiotics. Congratulations, your milk includes all the hormones and medications that the cow your milk and meat came from was nourished with.

I only drink organic milk, yogurt, and eggs. Its not that much more expensive and I am just used to it now.
I won't go out of my way, but I will buy organic veggies at the local supermarket if the price is not ourageously different.
I got into it for a while, but when I realized my family was spending like 2k/month on groceries, I stopped.

In Egypt, it's hard to find such stuff and I don't intend to keep searching for it. Also, I'm not picky and therefore I am content with what I have in hands. Moreover, I don't believe it's going to make any difference. I don't think it's the ultimate super healthy lifestyle. If you eat organic food and then you get out of the house and smell cars' gas and be exposed to air pollution and the like, it's of no use really.
Everything in moderation is what's best :)I only eat organic foods if my Mom gives it to me. She practically lives on that stuff, while the rest of my family doesn't really care if it's organic or not. In the future, I would plan on buying organic, however, since I'm still a broke university student, I'm sticking to whatever I can afford.
My family drinks organic milk & eggs regularly. In New York, we have a lot of great delis, produce markets, butchers, etc that whole foods just can't compar.
Its really expensive. I can't afford organic food... I live off canned food and stuff.
But when I do have money, I do try and buy organic fruits and veggies...
I try, but not everyone can afford a healthy life style. The only way your going to know that you're eating truly Organic food is if your grow it yourself, if you buy some carrots at the store that say Organic, how do you know a non Organic company didn't just slap a sticker on the package that says Organic?
It's too expensive where I live...but I admire the concept!
Yep taste better
