Can I have some advice about using tampon, girls?

Girls I need help :/

i just started using Tampons and I find that the smaller ones are better but I got some the same brand that I've been using today and they are a tiny bit bigger and it really hurts to use them what's wrong? :/

You might not be putting the tampon in far enough or you have it at a different angle. Your suppose to angle it towards the small of your back and kind of squat when your doing it. Also I find that when I'm close to being done my period it hurts more to use tampons so I just use pads when my period is almost done. I think it's probably something to do with not being as lubricated down there.

Make sure it's in all the way, and that the applicator is all the way in (just the tip where you hold it out) before you push it through. try on a diagonal if it won't go in all the way- some women are shaped differently. Also, make sure you're not dry. Try using organic cotton if it's irritating you and you've put it in properly still. Try junior sized. Make sure they're unscented.

I know I have to use the tampax pearl ones (my fav.) or anyone with a plastic applicator because its easier to use. I'm a virgin and so its still really tight, but with the plastic applicators its really easy. Just stick it in til where you hold it hits your fingers and push it in there(lol sounds tramatic).

You might not be putting it up far enough. When you insert, your fingers should touch your skin before you press to push the tamp inside. I believe Playtex makes the slim-fit size for teenagers if you want something smaller than a regular sized tampon.

you're just not adjusted to them don't force yourself to use them,your suposed to use them to absorb,if your not heavy don't bother using bigger ones?
