Which deadly disease would you MOST not like to have?

Of the following deadly diseases which one would you hate to suffer from the most?

I unfortunately already have a deadly disease - it's called Natural Causes. I've got 60 years to love maximum, and the last few will be associated with escalating symptoms such as:

- drooling,

- eyesight hearing and hair loss,

- hair gain in wrong places,

- sh*tting oneself

- being un-yummy in bed

- being un-yummy in bed to begin with and then sh*tting oneself

There is only one cure - dying sooner from something else. My dad, a former ballistic missiles commander (we're from Russia, now living in NY) tells me primary strike zone of a nuke is the most painless way to go. At most, out of the corner of your eye you'd see an RV (reentry vehicle) silently streak across the sky - sort of like an airplane only many times faster, and then nothing. Not even a flash like they show in the movies.

The bottom line is, as a wise man had once said, live every day to the fullest as if it's your last. Because some day, it will be. So whatever it is you're doing right now, try harder, worry less, and let yourself feel life's every moment. It is a gift.

Cancer is one mean sun of a gun. I've had more family members and friends claimed by it than all other items on your list combined. AIDS, as bad as it is, is far more controllable with modern meds. With many forms of cancer, we have minimal things we can do to treat them and often the person is just left to suffer and die helpful. Cancer "wins" this awful contest in my book.

I voted Other. Those diseases are bad, of course, but I think having Huntington's Disease would be much worse.

After the initial onset of symptoms, you can live up to 15-20 years with the disease. It's a disease that progresses rather slowly, and somebody with the disease will develop degeneration of cognitive motor functions, lose control of their body (worse than the tics typically found in Tourette's patients), and psychiatric problems. There is no cure and you will die from it, if you haven't already committed suicide (the disease is so agonizing that suicide is the next leading cause of death in patients with Huntington's, behind natural death.)

It's a genetic disease, and I'm glad it doesn't run in my family. As bad as it would be to actually have the disease, I think it would be even worse to have to care for somebody you love who has it, and you have to watch them become a shell of the person they used to be.

they have to be so painful it would be awful

I'm not sure why people are so being so hard on people with aids, you never know the circumstances of how someone got it, people are born with it sometimes and cannot help it

Oh I voted wrong I picked if I had to have one what would it be and that would definitely be aids. You can still have a life with aids. If cancer is deadly your dead. AIDS isn't deadly it's getting sick while you have aids that kills you. You can live a long life with AIDS.

HIV/Aids... Such a horrible illness to have. A very close relative of mine died from Aids, a long time a go when the diagnosis wasn't clear and they suffered a lot.

Ebola, no question. The others aren't quite as painful as having your insides slowly liquefy to the point where you just bleed out through every possible orifice.
