Why do feminists attack traditional girls?

Me and my friends were talking about visiting the doctor. One of my friends (a girl) said she preferred a male doctor to see her because she had more confident in male doctors than female doctors. Then, she went to add that she felt more comfortable with men being in a position in power than women. As you can imagine all of my other female friends began attacking her. They told her she was dumb and that women were as capable as men.

Why do feminist attack traditional girls?

Same reason some humanists, MRAS, racists, vegans, vegetarians, etcs

It's not just feminists who attack traditional girls it's people who are against traditionalism or traditional gender roles.

I can get that may be considered traditional to be more comfortable with men being in a position in power than women. Though how is it being a traditional gal to prefer male doctors because you have more confidence in them than female doctors? o.O

Does she know male doctors have far more malpractice issues than female doctors? As well as male doctors are far more likely to brush over symptoms from female patients? Feeling more comfortable with male doctors because of your values is one thing but being more confident of ability by gender rather than factual evidence is another.

Well, I think that they just can't bear the idea of women that don't even trust their own kind (like your friend). And feminist don't want men to be dominant, so they don't like it when your friend said that. Beside, your other female friends are NOT feminists, they were normal girls who want to show to you that women were as capable as men!
