Best teeth whitening product?

has anyone tried an at home teeth whitening kit? if so which one/ones? did you like it? why or why not? what were the results like; patchy, blotchy, burning, no result, etc? how much did it cost? Thank you :)

Listerine whitening (5$). ^_____^ Depending on the current condition of your teeth.. 2-4 weeks for a bright white smile. :D

I used it and loved it. Uniform whiteness. No side effects. The main ingredient in any of these teeth whitening products is hydrogen peroxide. I prefer Listerine Whitening cause I just swish it around in my mouth, spit it out and then brush my teeth. Plus I had great results with it (but I'm pretty sure they all work well since they are all 30-50% hydrogen peroxide-- it's not really some secret special formula). The whitening strips from Crest ($20), I didn't like because it leaves your mouth feeling sticky. My mom used it and helped clear up the stains on her teeth from smoking.. she didn't like the Listerine because she doesn't like the one min of swishing around in your mouth.. For me it's easier than that sticky stuff on my teeth for several minutes and then the stickiness staying there for a while. Like I said, anything with hydrogen peroxide as the main ingredient will likely give you the same result.. but it's how you prefer to take it. I prefer the quick swish and brush of a pre-rinse mouth wash is all.

I'm not sure if they have them where you're from, but LUSH sells things called Toothy Tabs, and I have never used a better teeth whitening product then their 'Atomic' Toothy Tabs.

I'm pretty sure the mixture of spices and other fair trade ingredients have a buffing reaction to your teeth. They also contain cloves and cinnamon which are antibacterial and prevent bad breath. To be honest, I just expected them to clean my teeth and make my breath fresh, but when I rinsed my mouth and smiled in the mirror I was taken aback by how white my teeth were.

Also, in case you are.. They are Vegan.

crest 3D whitestrips. make sure theyre the professional effects ones tho. I think they work amazingly, but they made my teeth sensitive so I would only use them everyother day, and brush my teeth with the 3D white toothpaste and use the whitening mouth wash by crest as well. I haven't used the strips in months and my teeth are still really white from using the other 2 products.

do the strips only cover the teeth at the front? I heard the strips don't reach all the way to the back so it doesn't lighten all your teeth, is that true?

yes its true, but it gets the teeth you could see at least. I mean, I'm glad it isn't long enough for all of my teeth or I would have to shove my fingers back there and like gag myself lol

Using a whitening toothpaste and perhaps a mouth wash with a whitening formula in it should be sufficient.
