About dislocations in the shoulder?

I believe I have "dislocated" my shoulder 7 times now. It has gotten to the point where I could fall and it would get dislocated. I think it gets dislocated because it kinda shifts and I can't move it at all and after a couple seconds the pain kinda eases and it goes back. It is now starting to get difficult for me to even play basketball. I had an amazing shot but I can't hardly shoot now. Do you think it was dislocated? Would I need surgery? If I got surgery would I be able to shoot again? PLEASE help :)

Go see a chiropractor and see what they think. It could be changed by just a simple adjustment and no surgery needed. If you can move it now without problems then I'd say you probably don't need surgery. But if you continue to just ignore it and it gets worse, then surgery will probably have to happen. Be easy on it, see a doctor.

You probably need surgery at his point, and yes, after a long rehab process, you can shoot again. You'll have to work really hard at strenthening all the muscles around the shoulder to avoid this happening any more.

You will need surgery. Your arm shouldn't be popping out of place so often that's clearly abnormal and can lead to chronic pain later in life.

Could be something wrong with the ball socket, or something more serious. Get it checked.

we went like the second time we did it and they said I was fine but it has been 6 more since then so you think they will acctually see something wrong with it?
