Cooking for a girl, two part question.

sixstring
I would love to cook for a girl as a date, but here's the problem. Most stuff that I can make is pretty fattening. Chicken legs and thighs, pasta with cheese and curry sauce, things like that.

I think most of the stuff I make, is something that the average girl would only eat every once and a while. And I have absolutely no idea how to ask a girl if she has a max calories or fat she wants to eat, without making her think I'm implying she's fat.

So is there a way to ask her without creating a misunderstanding?

Otherwise I am willing to make some other dishes, but there's another problem. I have a very difficult taste. There's hardly any vegetables I like (tomatoes, cucumber, raw carrots and spinach with lots of cream, I can eat salad but I don't really enjoy it either) and few fish I like. Mostly I like meat.

Any dishes you can advice?

What about starting with one piece of chicken, after that fried rice with seafood?

Just to make things clear, I'm not dating anyone at this time. I messed up previous relationships, I just want as much advice as possible before my next one, so I don't screw that one up either.
