Plant stem cell skin care.. yay or nay?

My roommate works at the Body Shop, and he and and his customers have been raving about this regenerative serum that contains plant stem cells. It's supposed to reverse signs of aging, build collagen and elastin, and help with hyperpigmentation. Are these plant stem cells just another gimmick to sell skin care products, or does the science behind it actually make sense? I've been using it for about a week and it feels nice and all but obviously no results yet! Has anyone tried any of these plant stem cell products? Did they work for you?

Plant stem cells, like human ones will grow and adapt in the environments it's in... in plant and humans resectively.

All anti-aging stuff is, is crap that when rubbed on the skin fill the crevaces in your skin a.k.a. your wrinkles.

That crack is your winkle and that resin is the anti-aging bullsh*t.

Note he says invisible. That's all anti-aging is, a mask that hides the wrinkles.

Some more expensive brands, infact have some effect the molecules enter the skin and mosturise it, and giving it more volume.. a mini facelift.

Stop use of the stuff and just wash daily with soap and warm water, eat healthy plenty of Vit C and your face will probably look better than using this lie-cream.

(Its not a cream it's a serum!) I already do all that already =) I don't have wrinkles or anything yet.. just trying it out really for sh*ts and giggles, and wondering if anyone who ACTUALLY has those issues has noticed any results.

Cream, Serum. Same thing only one is a bit more oily like and makes people go "Ooo, science. It must work.. such a such a study proved it. 90% of 5 people recommend it."

Just another gimmick. It wouldn't even surprise me if they just mean "plant stem cells" as in cells from the stems of plants XD

It might still be a good product, but not because of the special ingredient.
