Where do I sit ... I sent her two emails in the ... One a week after she told me she was done, moving on, don't ever contact me. I sent one last night, very general. The first one was a sorry / romantic. That has been the only contact sense the breakup. She responded last night, stating that she hopes I am doing good & showed a little emotion ... Is she coming back around & if so, how should I play it?

Yes definitely do not pressure her. If you want her back then do this. You end all contact ! I mean all of it. Even if she contacts you. If you respond in seconds like a puppy at the door you are way too easy to kick.

Do not worry or think what she is doing and or why things ended up the way they did.

Think of it as this way YOU TWO NEVER MET before. When she was first attracted to you she did not know you or saw you. You need to get back to being independant living life for yourself and doing things that please you. Being strong and confident in your everyday as a man should be with or without somebody by your side. That is what attracts women . BUT do NOT do that for any woman or motive to win one back. DO IT FOR YOURSELF ! this isn't a game so there is no way to play IT. LIVE !

The ex just died & she said she can't be with anyone until she sorts it all out, & that she will contact me when she can ... She didn't shut the door, but what a mess, it's clear she still wants me around

She probably misses you and may be double thinking whether she made the right decision or not by leaving you. You should try to be there for her if she wants to keep talking but I suggest that you let her open up and talk about it first if you don't want to be the one to start it & this way you can also avoid being hurt if she does not want to get back together. Depending on what she talks about & asks you just take things from there talk as much or as little of what happened between you two as she does. Let her come back to you if that's what she wants don't pressure her.
