Did it work?
What is your opinion about diet products?
Did it work?
They can't all be grouped together, none of them matter as much as diet.
Protein shakes aren't really 'diet' food. They are more mass gaining food.
Fat burners can have some use, but not as a pill to 'make you lose weight'. They are useful for some people in offsetting metabolic slowdown when under caloric deficit.
The simplest fat burning stack has significant appetite suppression.
You also should be eating a relatively high protein/fibre diet. That combined with a mild fat burner is going to take care of your appetite in most cases.
You do not need to spend a lot of money on this stuff.
Yes, I've 'taken stuff -while- losing weight'. It helped a little in -supporting- the diet. But its 90%+ diet unless you get into hardcore drugs. Then it might only be 60% diet.
I'll throw in the additional note that most expensive products are scams. The way the supplement world works is you have supplements that maybe do something ... but there's no patent on them. So no money. So companies make big proprietary mixes of 30 things including 2 ingredients that do something, then jack up the price.
There was a suppliment that really worked very well in fat loss, for me anyway. I was able to take it and literally drop pounds without even working out, or even cut back on my eating. I felt the euphorea when I was on it. Sadly, in the US, far too many people abused the herb, which caused it to be banned in the USA. Because of that, I won't name in publically, lest I get in trouble lol.
Luckily though, I can still get some since it is a traditional Chinese medicine, and can bring it to the US by putting it in with the $200 tea my wife likes buying, blends right it.
But I take heed to the mult-year champion bodybuilder Jay Cutler who says the best suppliment is solid food.
i normally don't believe in them, cause I think losing weight is best done by exercise and healthy living but I got a good deal on ketone diet and dr oz swears by them so I decided to try them out, I just started today so I don't know if they work or not, I'm hopeful but doubt it
many of them may work-but are still bullsh*t. the point of being slim,is looking attractive by looking healthy-and eating crap, not exercising, taking pills with god knows what sort of chemical sh*tstorm in them just goes against logic.

These should be avoided. It's much healthier to diet and work out with a plan. These pills have unknown side effects. Well, some of the side effects ARE known, and they aren't good. Kidney and liver problems, for example.
Fat burners don't work. Pure placebo.
Diet foods and drinks can be good alternatives for diabetics but otherwise, just stick with natural foods if you can/
There are some stacks that definitely 'work', but people's idea of 'work' needs to be realistic. Work doesn't mean 'i keep eating like a pig and sit at home and fat vanishes'. 'Work' means 'i diet pretty hard and stay active and it fights metabolic slowdown somewhat'.
A lot of the diet pills that get advertised show what is basically an average weight loss, meaning they lost not much more than the people who didn't take the pill. This could be due to them THINKING they were taking the pill (during the testing phase) and so they worked harder. The variation is so small that basically, most pills are just junk.
Most of the ones they market, suck.
Most people also don't need to fight metabolic slowdown on the types of dieting they actually do.
It's a lot of bullsh*t. You want to lose weight? Eat less, move more.
They're all BS. Calories in vs Calories out is the only way to determine weight loss or gain.
Some have an impact on calories out. Trying to simply ramp up calories out via drugs is not safe at all. Some people when dieting have a drastic reduction in calories out though, and some supplements can help reduce the extent to which their metabolism slows - which is pretty safe.
There are 'some' exceptions. I was just talking about the mass majority. I do believe in some supplements like Creatine to gain mass. But dietary supplements to help lose weight I don't believe in.
True, but when it comes to supplements its the closest thing that helps build muscle.
I wouldn't exactly say it builds muscle. On the other hand it does cause a (one shot) mass gain as extra water is driven into muscle fibers. Its potentially useful for increasing power which might let you workout harder and is also useful in rebuilding muscle tissue.
There are diet aids that are useful when cutting as creatine is when bulking. Which as you know means 'it has an impact in studies on people doing the work'. Creatine and sitting on the couch doesn't build muscle. Same idea.
But with diet ads, you HAVE to be at a caloric deficit to lose weight. Being at a caloric surplus and taking in dietary supplements will not make anyone lose weight unless they're on steroids.
Agreed, basically. Creatine is not AAS, its something that helps a little assuming your lifting and nutrition are already good. And most diet supplements that are safe and useful are similar - you need to be eating right, and then they give a bit of extra help. For some people it makes more difference then others.
The best ones are just a loss of money, the other ones can be outright dangerous
I think they are a supplaument that should be used in addition to exercise
It's the thought that counts right?
