Ok, we don't really do weird things. It's because of our hormones. But what did she specifically did or say that you didn't understand at the time? How did you handle it? Do you think it's annoying/ cute / weird?

My cousin once got hit on his head with a frying pan by his girlfriend on her period. He dumped her, obviously. She tried to be all Chris Brown, but he ain't Rihanna and he don't got no umbrella.

could be a placebo. you're told from a young age that you have pms, and that it will make you nasty, so you do (to some extent).

Well, of course you're gonna feel grumpy. What's happening down there is not very cool, and it persists for a couple of days, day and night.

And yes, girls are made to believe they will experience pms, and how they will feel. Having been fed with that info, they convince themselves they should feel that way. That's basically also the outcome of the research.
