Who are you supposed to go to when in need of weight questions?

I wouldn't go to parents or anyone I know. would I have to make an appointment with my doctor? I am in college, is there someone on campus that I can talk to? I have no idea.

You can find a lot of information out online honestly. Doctor's nowadays are getting worse and worse and just becoming "claim nazis" throwing as many patients through the door as possible.

Honestly in a nutshell, just eat as clean as possible and if you're trying to lose weight, go on a slight calorie deficit and if you're trying to gain weight, a slight calorie surplus. Use exercise to boost your metabolism and you're good to go.

There must be a student health center; I'd talk to one of the nurses or doctors there.

They get such questions frequently, and probably have phone numbers for both psychological counseling, and for wieght management organizations, such as Weight Watchers.

You might need either counseling or weight management help..or both!

Yes, there should be something called a wellness and resource center, which is more for counseling, and then something like the student health and resource center which is more like a medical office both should be able to help you :)

i don't understand why I'm not gaining weight, and according to the internet I'm anorexic. Which is shocking, I don't think of myself as fat at all and if anything I would like to gain weight. I weigh 88lbs and I'm 5'2.

Is you daily caloric intake in the normal range? Are you given to episodes of binging and purging? Either way, 88lbs at 5'2" is shockingly substandard and you would do best to consult a doctor.

my calorie intake is 1000. I do not have a disorder of binging or purging. My bmi is 16.1. thank you ! I would really like to see a doctor and talk about it with him!
