Could it be my wisdom teeth?

Ive been having pain behind my last molars on my bottom jaw. the last time I went to the dentsist they said my wisdom teeth aren't even in the x ray. that was over 3 years ago. the area is tender red

If the area is inflamed and in that area, it sounds like wisdom teeth coming in. When mine came in, I also had a lot of itching as they grew through the gums. My jaw was big enough to accommodate them, but if yours aren't, I'd recommend going to the dentist to have them removed (if he thinks they won't fit in) because I believe they can come out and disrupt your other molars if they grow in wrong.

Once you start getting your adult teeth, wouldn't your molars be noticeable? Molars could be the reason but if you haven't been to the dentist in over 3 years, then it could be a cavity or even a deeper cavity, needing a root canal.

Ya they are growing in. Avoid chewing on your back teeth caz food gets stuck there

Could be wisdom teeth coming in.

Or it could be something with your sinuses or your inner ear, like an infection. A lot of times ear infections will cause tooth pain because of the proximity to the area.
