Americans with white and perfect teeth?

How do Americans get such white and well aligned teeth? Are these mostly done with cosmetic dental work? with all the stains from food and work we put our teeth through, it's still hard to keep them nice even with daily brushes 3x/day.

so I guess there is a lot of whitening use. do you feel that it takes away your enamel and cause dental problems, like cavities?

White? Regular teeth cleanings & whitening toothpastes. Also, there are A LOT of over the counter teeth whitening gels/strips/treatments. Not everyone can afford professional teeth whitening.

Well aligned teeth? Braces. Crooked teeth are not only less pleasing to the eye but they can be unhealthy since food particles can get caught in little nooks and crevices and decay. Not only that but after wearing braces people are given retainers and are usually required to wear them nightly for the rest of their lives. Cause if you were born with crooked teeth then that's how your teeth naturally are so they'll end up moving again.

Also, keep in mind that even with whitening products, your teeth will become stained again cause as you mentioned, foods will stain them.

Maybe try ordering a glass of water (when you go out) or keep a bottle of water with you and after you've finished eating and drinking any tea/cokes, drink some water to help kind of remove any film that may cover the teeth and cause staining.

Teeth whitening products are widely available now (although it is not as good as professional whitening), and most American children get braces as soon as all their baby teeth fall out. Also there are different teeth whitening products we can use including toothpastes, mouth washes, and whitening strips that we can put on to keep our teeth white. Generally we will use a whitening strip system every 6 months to keep our smiles looking white. I do it and it really makes a difference :)

Yes, many people have orthdontia in their teens, and/or cosmetic tooth whitening done later. That's why all the perfect white teeth.

And we do tend to use various chemical whiteners on our teeth fairly regularly, even though they damage the tooth enamel in the long term.

Braces make them aligned, good oral surgeons help too. Some people take crest strips, which are little strips of paper like material and cover their teeth for a few hours. This stains their teeth white and looks great

Braces straighten the teeth also they sell teeth whitening products at a lot of general stores.

Braces and lots of brushing for me but I do occasionally use crest whitening strips. My teeth are pretty nice
