I guess advice from women would be best but frankly anyone with experience on the matter can help.
My girlfriend is gorgeous (in my opinion) but she is self-conscious about her body and sometimes complains she doesn't like this or that feature. So for her peace of mind I'd like to help her achieve her ideal body. However, I find when I suggest or hear about a diet or a specific exercise that targets what she considers problem areas she gets defensive.
Any suggestions on how to go about approaching her about diets or workouts that might help her out without making her feel self-conscious? Or do I just not bring it up?
