What is your impression of a guy who is in his mid 20's, and goes to bars alone because he just doesn't have>>

Friends or anything else to go out with? What do you think of someone like this if you see them at the bar maybe eating and drinking beer, but doesn't talk to anyone except the bartender when she/he asks about food or drinks. would you ever take to someone like that? have you ever taken to someone like that? or would it just weird you out and turn you off?

Theres no reason in the world why you can't go out on your own and have a beer and a bite to eat in public on your own.

Eating alone is a massive taboo in some people's mind, but at least you're getting out, being around other people and not sitting at home as a microwave hermit.

I think some people might see that and think, "hey this dude is really confident and self-sufficient"

that may make them more likely to approach or, on the other hand, they may think "Hey, he looks pretty content and looked after, maybe he's doing just what he wants so we'll just leave him be" in which case the burden might fall on you to bride that gap and be the one to reach out if there is someone you want to interact with other than the bar staff

I'd say he's like 9/10 of the people in bars. That's why most peoplego there, They don't want to feel alone, so they go to the bar where they can talk to other lonely people.

If they are new to the bar, they might talk only to the bartender. Keeping such people entertained is the biggest part of the bartenders' job.

If it's early, the other regulars haven't arrived yet. I'd bet anyone who frequents the bar has a crowd there they hang with, or they would stop showing up.

I think its GREAT. I love a man who can enjoy himself...Totally YUMMY! However, if you can't enjoy other people ever and have no friends it is not good in my eyes. I like the best of both worlds.

That's a huge turn off. Bar trolls are doing what they do best. Eating drinking at a bar. Not my style
