My boyfriend smokes hookah will being around him when he does it effect my health too?

yes it can. hookah smoke is filtered with water so there is less tar (the danger of smoke or second hand smoke). if you are in a well ventilated room and you aren't having smoke blown in your face the health risks are lowered but anytime you are in a room with smoke (cigarette, cigar, pipe, hookah, or even a house fire) there is risk of unhealthy second hand smoke inhalation
