Not sure for brain power specifically, but for overall health, you can't go wrong with fresh fruits and vegetables - green leafy ones in particular. A small amount of lean meats like chicken and fish are good for protein and whole grain, minimally processed grains are good for you as well. Limit sweets and sugars as well as added fats. Basically, just eat a variety of foods that are nutritious and avoid the ones that have no positive nutritional value.

While there are some foods that probably help, our understanding of nutrition is still in its infancy.
Eat a balanced diet composed of real food, with lots of vegetables, and get regular good sleep.
That's going to matter more then anything else. If you're already doing that, then we can talk about specific issues, but that's the FIRST priority.
Nuts, almonds, walnuts, pecans. Avocado, vegetables, whole grain oatmeal, all those good things.

bananas have high potassium which is what your brain synapses need for communication.
potassium also plays a role in dreams I believe
i hear almonds are good too, and anything with a good amount of vitamin bAny kind of fresh fruit or vegetable is good for you, but scientifically, dark green, leafy veggies have the most nutrients and healthiest trace minerals.
A healthy mix of vegatables, fish, meat, pasta. And, the most important thing: combine it with exercise!
Omega 3 is really good for brain power! It's found in fish!
