What do you do in your spare time?

Let's keep a long story short here.

What hobbies and/or pastimes' do you guys have? And what ones are good places to meet new people?

I am looking for new hobbies and interests as currently my spare time is largely made up of drinking and socializing with those I would not otherwise see, unless an alcoholic drink is involved.

I used to compete in a contact sport in my teens and early adult life, however in my mid 30's it is not exactly something I can get back into competitively which is something I would naturally be drawn to.

I am not fussy, and I am extremely open minded with suggestions and would like to get to know what you guys and girls do which beats procrastinating in your spare time.

I love day trading, learning as much as you can about the market and profitting from it is a great hobby, it also will allow you to retire earlier to do even more things you enjoy. If day trading isn't for you, i would still recommend spending time researching investments. Everybody should be investing their money so they can retire comfortably and if you have extra free time why not dedicate some of it to learning it?

I used to run marathons but had a hip replacement so I cannot do it anymore. I basically do chores around my house and yard until it is time for me to go back to work on Monday

Listen to music or play keyboards or guitar. Try to write songs. Read.
