While it's possible to reprogram using neurolinguistic programming techniques, the paths take time to become fixed and need reinforcement during the process.

There's some old country music that's basically music to pass your suicide to, and there's likely technically brilliant black metal musicians out there that raise the mood of the listener - I'm not one of them, but my cousin is a metal bass guitarist and I respect the skill.

Be selective about the lyrics of what you listen to and for the most part you're probably ok
