I wouldn’t say “pretend”, but I play hockey, and, goofy thing to say about yourself, but I guess I’m one of the “tough guys” in our league. I’m bigger than the majority of the guys I play with and against, and I’m well-known to have a pretty explosive temper…but I’m just chillin’ 99% of the time, I’m not out there TRYING to be this or that.
But…it’s kind of incumbent upon me as being someone who’s bigger and presumably not afraid of the rough stuff to defend my smaller teammates. I wouldn’t say it leads me to anything truly “villainous”, but I do have to be ready to take up somebody else’s fight, so…I might not really be that mad, lmao.
Sometimes it’s easy, egregiously roughing up my teammate, and I’ll take it upon myself to get in their face and let them know it won’t be happening a second time. Other times, I’m not even paying attention, I’m chasing the play, and all of a sudden there’s pushing and shoving that I don’t have any clue of how it started. So, right or wrong or just unknown, I usually have to be the guy that skates over and lets the riled up opponent know the problem is going to be with me, not my smaller teammate, so fix your face before I fix it for you.
But sometimes that has to be somewhat contrived, haha, if I don’t know how it started, and I just have to put my mean face on despite not always knowing why I’m doing it😂
Great answer! Thanks
In real life no, in strategy video games sure, I tend to play as any faction, including evil ones.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/D-PoQExz65kI absolutely have! I love villainous outfits and such. I'm too nice to be a villain though
Lol same but it's fun to play and act.
Oh, absolutely! Once, my friends and I staged an impromptu "bad guy" role-play after watching a thriller, and I channeled my inner villainess. It was strangely liberating to explore a different side of my personality that I might never show in real life. It’s like stepping into another person's shoes and seeing the world from a completely different perspective 🎭. Plus, it's a great way to challenge your own creativity and empathy by understanding what might drive a villain's actions. Have you ever tried something similar? It’s pretty exhilarating! 😈

I don't have to pretend because I am.
Evil? Or just made up?
