Why some adult people arrive late and are horrible with time management?

Yesterday my cousin wanted to come over at my place since she couldn't finish unpacking so she ask me that she was going to stop at my house to eat lunch without asking me first in advance I scheduled plans ahead of time. My cousin straight up told me I will be there at 12:45 pm I was annoyed I was doing my Spring cleaning ok so I stopped what I was doing and went down stairs to the kitchen to cook lunch. Now this is what bothers me long story short my cousin arrives at my house at 1:30 so disrespectful and inconsiderate. One thing that infuriates me is when people arrive late no phone call nothing. My cousin told me she would be at my house at 12:45 pm people have things to do and this unacceptable. I had to be somewhere at 2 p. m. to pick up an order I had place for an outdoor table my cousin is over her thinking she is the daughter of the president as if she was that special 😡🙄so disrespectful. My question not all people but why some people are so disrespectful and arrive late just horrible just horrible time management. Yet my cousin called me a Karen when I comforted her of her grandchildren inconsideration and disrespect. When I set up times with people in general I arrive 15 minutes early. I just can not understand inconsiderate people.

Life can easily get in the way sometimes. You don't say if she's chronically late or if your nose was put out because she was late on this one occasion. It makes a difference.

That said, I'd rather people arrive late than early. I feel if I've invited someone to be at my place at a set time then it's infinitely worse if they pitch up a quarter of an hour earlier. I had a friend who was prone to doing that and we all started refusing lifts from them and telling them things started later than they did so we'd be ready when they got there.

If you actually read my post you would know she was arrive super late. I told her 12:45 pm she arrives at 1:30 later gets angry when I pick up everything. Sorry if you want to come to our house and your an adult my you must not arrive late you arrive late we won't open the door you'll just have to freeze outside.

I'm one of those people honestly. It's not that I'm not considerate of their time, it's because I have agoraphobia and it takes me time to build up the courage to go anywhere. I'm generally hoping to miss my times and not have to go. A lot of times that makes me late to everything from meeting with friends to going to the doctor to even meeting up with my own family at their house when we all used to live near each other.

I know that's an extreme circumstance, but it fits the being late mold.

My wife's sister used to come to our house for Thanksgiving. She was always late. We used to hold up dinner for her. My idea was we tell her dinner was at 1 o'clock when it was really two.
