I try not to think about it and to entertain myself, but I still have no energy and am sleepy.
I even exercise and dance to music, but I don't feel good.

It is tough to lose a parent, especially if you were close to them. I am sorry for your loss.
We all grieve in different ways. Think of the times you had with your mother and what an influence she was on you. She is actually living through you now. She would not want you to be sad and would want the best for you.
I am so sorry! I don't think it will get better. Losing a mom is really painful. You can always try to write letter to her and things you appreciate about her. Generally speaking, you would have to feel all the emotions to grieve properly but you can do that in increments. You can also grieve with someone if that helps. Try to join things that help you get out of that mood intermittently.
It''s hard to understand how much comfort we have knowing our parents are alive until they aren't whether we get along with them or not. I lost both of mine a month apart at the same age you are now, and wow nothing prepared me for how lost I was for a long time after that.
I'm genuinely sorry to hear about your loss. In times of grief, it’s important to be kind to yourself and give yourself space to heal. Finding a small comfort, like a hobby or spending time with loved ones, can help ease the pain. When I face tough times, immersing myself in games or creative projects provides a momentary escape, serving as a gentle reminder that it's okay to find joy in the small things. Reach out to friends or support groups; sharing your feelings can bring comfort. 🌼
